Brighten up your day ...

One can easily get depressed or drown in selfpityness when having to face autumn again.

Summertime ended around 2 weeks ago which resulted in even less daylight.

You catch yourself leaving the house in the morning while it's still dark outside and you return home from work when it's dark again.
Adding onto this is the constant rain, the autumn storms and in general just the very uncomfortable weather and temperatures.

Cuddling up on the sofa with a hot chocolate/tea/coffee, some yummy cookies and one of these chick's films doesn't help all the time.

That's why I started decorating my flat with loads of roses so that I have at least a little 'visible springtime' in my place.

I have around 3 dozen of different coloured roses, orange, yellow/reddish and salmon-pink and it really brightens up my place a lot.

Life feels a lot more positive with them around.

London ...

London is always a great place to visit.

I went there at the end of July mainly to collect my brand new iPhone4 but I also spent some time to do the touristy stuff.
The city was completely overcrowded with tourists.
Mental note to self: Never ever visit London again during the summer months, unless there's an important reason such as a concert or else.

Anyway, the weather wasn't really that nice but okay.

Staff at work in Monterrey - funny outfits :)

It was really funny to see everyone on stage doing their duties in funny outfits.

When I was into American Football some year ago and my local team had their last practice for the season it was usually called 'Crazy Hats Day' so all the players & trainers came to the practice with funny hats & masks and it was always hilarious to see.

So when we spotted Steph (below) wearing some kind of Mariachi skirt, we couldn't help but giggle and then we noticed that most of the other roadies were wearing similar stuff. Classic!



Steph looked really stylish with her Mariachi skirt, the blouse and the red ribbon.

Hoppy also did look great in his mexican style outfit. He should have worn a sombrero though ;)

I guess we can all agree that such an outfit wouldn't support Wayne's breakdancing.

It was great to see him doing it for a very last time in Monterrey, after he didn't do it in Guadalajara.

Honestly, we haven't had much (in fact ANY) time to do sightseeing.
The day off was usually just the travel day for us and therefore we left city A to travel to city B, where we usually arrived in the late afternoon.




The pic above was taken from our room window of our hotel in Guadalajara.
It was also the same fountain, where trainer Dan took the Colplay shaped puppets to pose for their Guadalajara photo. ;)


Below are some shots from our hotel in Monterrey. It was a really lovely view as the place is surrounded by mountains and the air was comparatively clean to the one in Mexico City where we also had mountains surrounding the city.

Guadalajara - Part III

Guadalajara war mit Abstand das beste Publikum, nicht nur auf die Mexico-Konzerte bezogen. Obwohl das Stadion vergleichsweise klein war, war die Audience sowas von gut drauf, die haben locker mehr Stimmung gemacht als in Wembley. IRRE!!

Sicherlich kommt es darauf an, wo man steht usw. aber da wir 'mittendrin' waren, konnte man das glaube ich ganz gut beurteilen.

Tja ... und dann war ja da in Guadalajara noch mein absolut "mieses Verhalten" ... *hust*
Nun ja, ich habe es nicht nötig, den Schwachsinn im Forum zu kommentieren.
Wenn SIE meint ... *rolls eyes*

Just for the record ... ich habe sie weder zur Seite geschubst noch ihr ihre Kamera aus der Hand geschlagen.

Das Teil (= Mundharmonika) kam direkt auf mich zugeflogen, ich habe sie gefangen und festgehalten, weil ich ehrlich Schiss hatte, dass jemand sie mir aus der Hand reisst.
Und sie stand neben mir und meinte, Chris hätte ihr das Teil zugeworfen.
Für einen Bruchteil hatte ich tatsächlich vor, ihr das Ding nach dem Konzert zu geben.

Doch dann dachte ich mir: 'Warum eigentlich??'

Sie hat vorher schon immer gesagt, dass sie Chris nicht wirklich mag. Sie mag ihn nur, wenn er mit IHREM Jonny zusammen ist. Eh ... hallo??!

Dann hat sie mir irgendwann erzählt, was sie alles bereits von CP signiert hat und sie hatte auch Bilder gepostet, wo sie Setlists, Drumsticks usw. hat.

Hinzu kommt die Gitarre von Jonny, die sie bei dem End Of Decade Clearout Sale ersteigert hat.
Und dann habe ich mir gesagt, hätte sie mir das Teil gegeben, für den Fall das alles umgekehrt gelaufen wäre??

Von einigen von Euch habe ich ja bereits gehört, dass ihr ebenfalls Eure 'speziellen' Erfahrungen mit ihr gemacht habt und insofern zweifle ich mal an, dass sie selbst so selbstlos gewesen wäre :(

Eigentlich bin ich nicht der Typ, der schmutzige Wäsche waschen muss, ganz besonders nicht in der Öffentlichkeit.

Dies hier ist ja noch halb 'privat' ... naja, und sie hat ja quasi den ersten Stein geschmissen ...

Und wo wir schon bei Steinen sind ... unten seht ihr den 'Stein des Anstosses' ;)

Wie ihr sicherlich schon festgestellt habt, bezieht sich meine Ausbeute an Fotos überwiegend auf Guy & Will :)

Für einige von Euch sicherlich kein Grund zum Smilen ;)
Beschwert Euch nicht bei mir, sondern bei den Herren Buckland und Martin, denn die haben mir partout nur ihre Rückseite zugewandt.
Vermutlich standen vor der anderen Seite der C-Stage die netteren Damen ... ;)
